A drink that evolved in the dirty south and popularized by hip hop producer DJ Screw (deceased, purple drank related) and his rap protege Big Moe (deceased, purple drank related). It contains codine based cough syrup, sprite and jolly ranchers...to be served in a styrofoam cup over ice. Both inventors died due to excessive codine consumption...indefinitely giving purple drank the reputation as being one of the most RAL drinks ever. Its cheap, gets you crunk and makes you look cool, the essense of keeping it ral...keep on sippin the sizzurp in the sky homies.
